Picente and Oneida County Employees Giving The Gift Of Knowledge This Christmas

County Employees Sponsoring Thea Bowman House 2016 Benefit Drive

County Executive Anthony Picente and Oneida County Employees are having a benefit drive the week of December 12th to assist the Thea Bowman House. Employees can donate baby supplies, school supplies and personal items to the drive.  Every employee who donates by Wednesday December 14th will be able to participate in a dress down day on Thursday December 15th.

Picente said of the drive “We ask all employees to participate but we know we will have a successful drive because our employees are members of this community and they have always been willing to give a hand, especially during the holiday season”

Supplies that can be donated:

School Supplies such as bookbags, glue sticks and wooden puzzles. Baby Supplies including, Bibs, diapers and wipes together with personal items like hats and mittens, soap/shampoo and kids toothbrushes.

Picente went on to say “These are items the Thea Bowman House has identified as a need and we are pleased to be assisting them and I thank all our employees for participating and giving the gift of knowledge and comfort to those in need this holiday season.”

All items will improve the well-being and learning environment of the Thea Bowman kids.
