The Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS) serves as the umbrella agency supporting the Office for Aging and Continuing Care, The Department of Social Services, Veterans’ Services and the Youth Bureau.

The Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS) provides information, advocacy, financial and social services to eligible residents of Oneida County in accordance with federal, state, and county laws. These services are provided with respect for each individual and concern for enhancing family functioning, reducing dependency, and maintaining children and adults in the community where possible.
