Transportation Improvement Program
The HOCTC has developed the draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Oneida and Herkimer Counties and Utica Urbanized Area. The TIP lists all proposed highway and transit improvement projects programmed to receive federal financial assistance from the US Department of Transportation – Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) – over the next four federal fiscal years. The TIP conforms to the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) being developed by the New York State Department of Transportation.
