Talerico Elected President Of The NYSPELRA

Oneida County Commissioner of Personnel, John P. Talerico, was elected President of the New York State Public Employers Labor Relations Association (NYSPELRA) at the 39th annual training conference held July 16-19 at Saratoga Springs New York.  Talerico has been a NYSPELRA member since 1998 and has held various board positions since 2006 most recently as Vice President of Region 3.

County Executive Picente said “John is a dedicated public servant and I personally congratulate him on this achievement. Here in Oneida County we set out to put together the best team we can. When organizations around the state recognize their leadership and accomplishments it affirms what we already know, We have the best team possible here in Oneida County.”

NYSPELRA is a non-profit association of professionals who represent the managements of various public employers throughout New York in their dealings with their union-represented employees. Members include those in the employ of State and local government agencies, counties, towns, villages, school districts, colleges, universities, hospitals, and public authorities.

NYSPELRA's goal is to help its members achieve the highest possible standard of management advocacy by providing the information, resources and training needed to do so.
