Picente Statement on Proposed Federal Budget
“At this time we are learning more and more about the proposed federal budget every minute. We know this is a fluid process, and I obviously have concerns about funding levels for necessary programs, such as HEAP and home-delivered meals and what their fates might be. We are working diligently to nail down specific details. We will continue to monitor the process, and I ask our federal representatives to keep us informed and fight for programs necessary to our community.”
