Picente Statement On Appointment To The Board Of Trustees of the Power Authority
“I thank Governor Andrew Cuomo for this responsibility and look forward to being a member of the Board of Trustees and serving in the governance and oversight of the Authority. The New York Power Authority is America's largest state power organization working with businesses, non-profits and municipalities while supporting thousands of jobs and reducing public sector costs and does this without any tax revenue or state credit. I look forward to assisting business in keeping their power costs down so they can expand and be competitive.” This appointment is a unpaid, uncompensated five year position.
