Oneida County COVID-19 Update for December 29, 2020

Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of midnight on Dec. 28. Please note, some of the hospitalization numbers have been revised from what the County Executive gave during his briefing today.

• 281 new positive cases, 11,446* total. (*Upon further investigation, 1 positive case was removed from the previous total.)
  
  • 7 are nursing home residents.
• 5,045 active positive cases.
• 2 new COVID-19-related deaths, 217 total.
• 151 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
  
  • 137 at MVHS.
  • 14 at Rome Memorial.
    
    • 11 are nursing home residents.
• 14 patients are hospitalized out of county.
• 4,684 positive cases have been resolved.
• 363,012 total negative results.
• 374,458 total tests.
• 5,045 in mandatory isolation.
• 2,557 mandatory quarantine.
