  • 6 new positive cases, 281* total. *PLEASE NOTE: Upon further investigation, four positive cases reported yesterday were determined to be non-Oneida County residents. They have been subtracted from today’s total.
  • 1 new positive fatality, 8 total.
  • Out of the 281 positive cases:
    • 24 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
    • 5 are admitted outside of Oneida County.
  • 79 positive cases have been resolved.
  • 1,965 total tests have been conducted.
  • 138 results pending.
  • 1,546 total negative results.
  • 417 under mandatory quarantine.
  • 416 under precautionary quarantine.
  • 2,089 total have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.
  • New potential public exposures:
    • On April 13, 2020 between 12 p.m. and 7 p.m., an Oneida County resident who has tested positive for COVID-19 was reported to have been shopping at the Hannaford Supermarket located at 1122 Mohawk St. in Utica. Risk to the public is low. Anyone who was in the store during this time period should monitor themselves for symptoms through April 28th and contact their health care provider if symptoms develop. You do not have to automatically self-quarantine.
    • On April 15, 2020 at 7:20 p.m., an Oneida County resident who has tested positive for COVID-19 was reported to have picked up a food order at Giovanni’s Pizzeria located at 12 E. Park Row in Clinton. Risk to the public is low. Anyone who was there at that time should monitor themselves for symptoms through April 29th and contact their health care provider if symptoms develop. You do not have to automatically self-quarantine.
    • On April 16, 2020 between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., an Oneida County resident who has tested positive for COVID-19 was reported to have been shopping at Tops Friendly Market located at 87 E. State St. in Sherrill. Risk to the public is low. Anyone who was there at that time should monitor themselves for symptoms through April 30th and contact their health care provider if symptoms develop. You do not have to automatically self-quarantine.
