Consumer Directed EISEP (Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly)
Overview
Consumer Directed EISEP is a demonstration program for consumers who need care or services to help them live at home. Consumer-directed Care (sometimes called Self-Directed Care) is a big part of this program. Consumer-directed Care means that the person who needs care or services decides what assistance they need. They also decide on when, where and how the services should be delivered. The Consumer Directed EISEP is designed to give participants in the program more choice and control over the care and services they receive.
