Picente Statement on Potential Tenant for Marcy Nanosite County Executive Invites Global Tech Company Foxconn in for Visit
“I recently saw in national reports that global technology company Foxconn is interested in building a flat-panel display screen factory in the United States and is exploring the options that are available. Because we have a site ready to go in Marcy with a $600 million commitment from New York State behind it, I immediately contacted a Foxconn representative to invite them to visit the site, and an overview package has been sent by Mohawk Valley EDGE. My office will continue to be proactive in following every lead that presents itself and not just depend solely on the State of New York to get these things done. ”
