Picente & Griffo to Host Informational Discussion with PSC, Thruway Authority and Oneida County Office for Aging and Continuing Care
Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. & New York State Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-C-Rome, and are inviting residents to attend an informational discussion they are hosting with the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC), New York State Thruway Authority and the Oneida County Office for Aging and Continuing Care.
The free event will take place from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 at the Copper City Community Connection at 305 E. Locust St. in Rome.
Representatives from the state and county agencies will be sharing information about programs, services and resources that they offer to residents. Electric, gas, steam, telecommunications/cable and private water utilities are regulated by the Public Service Commission.
“There are many resources available to Oneida County residents that they may be unaware of,” Picente said. “This event will educate the public and answer some specific questions that impact their lives. It is important to Sen. Griffo and I that our constituents are well-informed and our governing agencies are accountable to their needs. I thank the NYS Public Service Commission and Thruway Authority for participating in this event along with our Office for Aging and Continuing Care.”
