Oneida County COVID-19 Update for July 9, 2020

Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of 12 p.m.:

  • 8 new positive cases, 1,707 total.
  • 2 new COVID-19-related deaths, 102 total.
    • Both deaths nursing-home related.
  • 26 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
    • 24 MVHS
    • 2 Rome Memorial
  • 4 patients are hospitalized outside of Oneida County.
  • 13 of the patients hospitalized in county are nursing home residents receiving acute care.
    • 12 MVHS
    • 1 Rome Memorial
  • 169 active positive cases
  • 1,436 positive cases have been resolved.
  • 53,712 total negative results.
  • 55,419 total tests have been conducted.
  • Quarantine numbers will be unavailable until the Oneida County Health Department transitions from its internal reporting system to New York State’s. The quarantine numbers will be updated retroactively once that process is completed.
