Oneida County COVID-19 Update for July 10, 2020

Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of 12 p.m.:

  • 15 new positive cases (2 nursing home residents), 1,750* total.
    • *28 positive cases have been added into the previous total. The reporting of these cases was backlogged from lab systems over the past two weeks and entered into the system all at once. The cases are not related to each other.
  • 2 new COVID-19-related deaths, 104 total.
    • Both deaths nursing-home related.
  • 28 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
    • 26 MVHS
    • 2 Rome Memorial
  • 4 patients are hospitalized outside of Oneida County.
  • 14 of the patients hospitalized in county are nursing home residents receiving acute care.
    • 13 MVHS
    • 1 Rome Memorial
  • 201 active positive cases
  • 1,445 positive cases have been resolved.
  • 54,895 total negative results.
  • 56,645 total tests have been conducted.
  • Quarantine numbers will be unavailable until the Oneida County Health Department transitions from its internal reporting system to New York State’s. The quarantine numbers will be updated retroactively once that process is completed.
