Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of midnight on Dec. 22.

• 270 new positive cases, 10,033* total. (*Upon further investigation, 4 positive cases were removed from the previous total.)
  
  • 17 are nursing home residents.
• 3,946 active positive cases.
• 3 new COVID-19-related deaths (2 are nursing home residents), 201 total.
• 128 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
  
  • 110 at MVHS.
  • 18 at Rome Memorial.
    
    • 10 are nursing home residents.
• 12 patients are hospitalized out of county.
• 4,386 positive cases have been resolved.
• 348,605 total negative results.
• 358,638 total tests.
• 3,946 in mandatory isolation.
• 3,128 in mandatory quarantine.
