Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of midnight on Dec. 9.

• 254 new positive cases, 7,093* total. (*Upon further investigation, 3 positive cases were taken off of the previous total.)
  
  • 6 are nursing home residents.
• 3,023 active positive cases.
• 3 new COVID-19-related deaths (1 nursing home resident), 167 total.
• 119 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
  
  • 98 at MVHS.
  • 21 at Rome Memorial.
    
    • 18 are nursing home residents.
• 14 patients are hospitalized out of county.
• 3,903 positive cases have been resolved.
• Total negative results were not updated by NYS DOH as of 4 p.m.
• Total tests were not updated by NYS DOH as of 4 p.m.
• 3,023 in mandatory isolation.
• 2,238 in mandatory quarantine.
