Oneida County COVID-19 Data Update 1-14-22
PLEASE NOTE: Oneida County government offices will be closed to the public on Jan. 17, 2022 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. COVID-19 updates are scheduled to resume on Jan. 18, 2022.
Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of midnight on Jan. 13.
- 517 new positive cases, 48,680* total.
- *94 positive cases were added into today’s total as the result of home test kits reported to Oneida County from 12/31/21 to 1/13/22.
- 5,651 active positive cases.
- 16.7% positivity rate.
- No new COVID-19-related deaths, 608 total.
- 75 Oneida County residents are hospitalized.
- 28 unvaccinated/47 vaccinated
- 52 at MVHS
- 11 at Rome Health
- 12 out of county
- 11 of total hospitalized are in the ICU.
- 10 unvaccinated/1 vaccinated
- 6 of total hospitalized are on ventilators.
- 6 unvaccinated/0 vaccinated
- 9 of total hospitalized are from long-term care facilities.
- 1 unvaccinated/8 vaccinated
