First Positive Case of COVID-19 Confirmed in Oneida County
County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. confirmed the first positive case of an Oneida County resident with COVID-19 today.
The individual had traveled abroad and returned on March 12, 2020. After displaying symptoms, the person was immediately tested and quarantined on March 13, 2020. Oneida County received the test results this morning. The patient remains in quarantine and does not require hospitalization at this time.
