Overview
The Income Maintenance Unit works closely with individuals to achieve the goal of increasing self sufficiency. Includes programs such as Temporary Assistance, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, and Home Energy Assistance Program.
Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
HEAP is a federally funded program designed to assist low to middle income families and individuals in meeting the costs of home energy.
Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)
SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) is a program that provides supplement assistance to low income households so they can obtain low cost nutritious meals.
Temporary Assistance
Temporary Assistance (formerly public assistance) is cash benefits available to help with basic needs such as shelter, heat, and utilities.
