Overview
The Contract Administration Department manages the process, implementation, and maintenance of contracts that provide programmatic and other services impacting those served within the many divisions of the Oneida County Department of Family and Community Services. Contractual agreements are made between the County and service providers. These contracts are integral to the functioning of the Department by ensuring that all mandated and/or essential services are readily available to people of all ages who receive services through the Department.

Each service requires a contract. New services often require that a proposal for a service be solicited through the posting of a Request for Proposal (RFP).
How can I or my agency find out about new RFP opportunities?
Oneida County will post all RFP and bid opportunities in the local newspaper and on their website. There is also a link on this page to the RFP area.
What are examples of some contracted services with the Department of Family and Community Services?
Oneida County contracts with service providers to deliver a multitude of services, including but not limited to foster care, day care, counseling, interpreting, in-home services, youth intervention programs, programs for seniors, domestic violence advocacy, and much more.
