Quarantine and Isolation

As of 1/10/22, the Oneida County Health Department, and New York State as a whole, is no longer contact tracing positive COVID-19 cases. County residents will continue to be notified by the county Health Department by phone, text or email if they test positive for COVID-19, but contacts to positive infections will not be. Positive individuals should notify those who they were in close contact with.

Individuals who test positive for COVID-19, and those who know they have been in contact with someone who is positive, should review isolation and quarantine procedures here.

After isolation or quarantine protocols have been fulfilled, individuals can obtain release paperwork to show to employers and schools below. Employers and schools may require a longer isolation or quarantine period than what is stated in the county guidelines

Isolation Self Attestation Form(for positive tests)

Quarantine Self Attestation Form(for contact to a positive)
