Isolation

On August 11, 2022, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated COVID-19 guidelines. New York State Department of Health has adopted these guidelines.

Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should review isolation procedures https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/isolation.html.

Individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 regardless of vaccination status should review guidelines https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/if-you-were-expose....

After isolation protocols have been fulfilled, individuals can obtain release paperwork to show to employers and schools below. Employers and schools may require a longer isolation period than what is stated in the guidelines.
