Window Replacement Seminars
This class is designed for the “Do-it-yourselfer” who wants to learn how to replace their old windows using safe work practices. Classes are limited to 8 students and are hands-on.
Who should attend: Anyone owning rental or owner-occupied housing in the City of
Owners completing the class may opt to purchase windows ‘at cost’ through the program or may obtain onsite technical assistance at their property address for an hourly fee. Those completing the program and purchasing windows may obtain free dust wipe sampling before and after the windows are replaced to insure safe lead dust levels after clean up.
Cost: FREE, a $25.00 deposit is required to hold your slot, it will be refunded to you on the day you attend your scheduled class.

Lead Safe Work Practice Classes
8 hour Lead-Safe Work Practice Course provides basic level training in lead-safe work practices for contractors or Do-it-yourselfers who wish to work with lead-based paints in pre-1978 housing. Class is open to all Oneida County residents, or outside Oneida County persons if space is available.
