Picente Honors 100 & 101 Year Olds

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente honored two during a lunch at the Parkway Senior Center on December 15th.

Tony Artessa, Sr., reached his 100th birthday, and was given a proclamation read by County Executive Picente. The proclamation honored Tony on his birthday, and mentioned accomplishments such as Tony’s service to our country during the Second World War, for his time of service at Griffiss Air Force Base, including time working there during the Cold War.
Wanda Marianne Wasileski Rishel reached her 101st birthday, and was also given a proclamation read by County Executive Picente. Her proclamation honored her birthday, and mentioned her devotion to community service, as a Girl Scout Leader, a YWCA Honors Volunteer, amongst numerous other volunteer causes.
The lunch was well attended by family, friends, and members of the Parkway Senior Center community.
