Isolation
On August 11, 2022, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated COVID-19 guidelines. New York State Department of Health has adopted these guidelines.
Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should review isolation procedures.
Individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 regardless of vaccination status should review the guidelines.
After isolation protocols have been fulfilled, individuals can obtain release paperwork to show to employers and schools below. Employers and schools may require a longer isolation period than what is stated in the guidelines.
