Picente Announces Oneida County Partnership Plan

 Terms of Agreement of Plan to
 Resolve Oneida Indian Nation Issues

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr., today announced the terms of a proposed agreement between Oneida County and the Oneida Indian Nation of New York to resolve multiple land and tax issues. “The purpose of this agreement is to allow us to move forward as partners for the greater good of all the people of this region,” Picente said. “We cannot rewrite the past, but we can write the future in bold strokes of achievement if we are willing to see the future as allies and not adversaries.” 

Picente: County Helps Job-Seekers Find Parking While Looking for Work at Working Solutions in Utica

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr. today announced that Oneida County has arranged for Oneida County residents coming to Utica’s Working Solutions office in the State Office Building to park for up to three hours in city of Utica-operated open parking lots, such as the one on Union Street right across from the State Office Building in Utica.

Picente: DFAS Employment Workshop Scheduled for May 6th at King School

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr. today announced that an outstanding partnership of public and private partners is working together to hold an Employment Workshop on May 6th to help the people of Utica’s urban neighborhoods learn about employment opportunities at the Defense Finance Accounting Service office at Griffiss Park in Rome.
