George Washington's Papers
Records in the Oneida County Clerks Office date back to the late 1700’s. Included in our archives are land records that date back to 1792. Within these land records our first President George Washington was the title holder to 3 separate pieces of property. As part of our ongoing process to make our records more accessible we have placed two of the original deeds in digital format so they can be viewed on our web site. For more information on George Washington go to the Library of Congress.
