Picente: Flags at Half-Staff to Honor Creaser
Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr., today announced that the flags at Oneida County’s buildings will be lowered to half staff through Monday in honor of K. Scott Creaser, a former Oneida County legislator, who died last week.
“Scott Creaser served the people of this county with dignity and diligence during his years of service on the Board of Legislators,” Picente said. “Scott helped to make County Government better able to serve the people of this area, and he brought that same concern and compassion for the people of our region to his work as an attorney and as a member in service organizations in the community. He was a great gentleman and an outstanding public servant. By lowering the flags for these next few days, we are showing a dedicated man the type of respect he deserves – and the same respect he always showed to those he knew.”
