County Seasonal Flu Clinics Cancelled Until Additional Vaccine Arrives

The Oneida County Health Department announced today that the demand for seasonal flu vaccine has been much higher than anticipated and that their supply of seasonal flu vaccine was exhausted on October 9th.

Therefore, all seasonal flu immunization clinics to be conducted by the Health Department will be cancelled and re-scheduled at a later date. The Health Department anticipates receiving additional seasonal flu vaccine within the next 3 weeks.

The Health Department emphasizes that there is no shortage of seasonal flu vaccine in Oneida County. Some providers, such as the Health Department, have exhausted their supply. However, local pharmacies and mass vaccination companies are providing seasonal flu vaccine. Feel free to visit the Health Department website at www.ocgov.net or phone 798-5747 if you would like additional information.
